The robotic platform will be presented at the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum. MOSCOW, July 30. / TASS /. The Advanced Research Fund (FPI), together with the RF Ministry of Defense, will test the "Marker" combat robot in August. General Director of the fund Andrey Grigoriev told about this in an interview with TASS.
"Within the framework of the Marker project, a series of running and firing tests are planned in August, which will be carried out jointly with units of the Russian Ministry of Defense," he said. According to Grigoriev, the platform will be presented within the framework of the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum.
The robotic platform "Marker" is a joint project of the National Center for the Development of Technologies and Basic Elements of Robotics FPI and NPO "Android Technology" (the developer of the anthropomorphic robot "Fedor"). It is assumed that this combat robot will become the basis for working out the joint interaction of ground robots, unmanned aircraft and special forces. "Marker" is positioned as a constructor for creating models of warfare in the future.
